Alicia Arlene Andres was born on October 8, 1965 to parents Alberto and Ursula Andres while in transit to the Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital (Waimea, Kauai). The second oldest of five siblings, Alicia is survived by her older brother, Alwin, younger brother, Alex, and two younger sisters, Aileen and Adele (Riddarskjold). Half siblings include, older sister, Lisa (Francisco), and younger brothers, Joel and Allan.
Alicia was a student at Kekaha Elementary School before eventually attending Waimea High School as a member of the graduating class of 1983.
